It is red, again. This time, it’s a ring. The price is a bit expensive for a ring like this . Mum agreed to buy it because the four of us can wear it to formal dinners. However, it is going to be my CNY accessory.
Brand : Marks and Spencer
Price : $16

Being so paranoid over the possibility of having to glide or skate the icy grounds in London, I made an impromptu purchase on the web..

Yes, it is cheap (must be made in Cheeeenah!) and reasonable. Some people think it is ugly (I sometimes think too…) because of its bulkiness and lack of defined shape. Who cares, all I need are the thick, sturdy soles for me to make the mark on the ice.
The irony is that I finally got the boots after the snow disappeared. My fat calves and short lower limbs did not help too.. but beggars can’t be choosers, no?

Brand: brandless!
Price: GBP: 11.50

I have been eyeing this when it just arrived in the Rip Curl section in Parkson. I think it’s the colour that attracted me. I like caps, but I only wear them to the beach. Hahah.
Brand : Rip Curl
Price : RM 53.90
Place : Bintang Plaza, Miri.

I have a confession. I am never good in brands. I don’t do brands. I am not a branded person.. so when my cousin told me about Jane Norman (UK high street brand), I ended up saying..
“Nehhh.. that Harvey Norman’s wife brand..”
Even before I stepped my foot on the British soil, I have been hearing so much about Jane Norman. I finally got to visit the store in London. They’ve got quite neat dresses. With neat price tags too..
Having said that, the Boxing Day sale gave me an opportunity to get a good deal. I got this Jane Norman tab waist belt coat for 50% off.

Okay, I know it looks ugly here. I think it is some old dated coats they just want to get rid off. What to do, Miss Cheapskate still wants a coat to survive the cold winter.. she decided in less than 10 minutes to make the purchase at GBP40.

(Didn’t button it properly.. so it actually looks slanted?)
It actually isn’t that bad looking on me.. someone console me!! I didn’t want to choose the double-breasted style because my autumn coat is already one of that kind. I wanted something slightly longer.. and the length was just nice for me. Black isn’t the ideal colour but beggars can’t be choosers, I guess?

Excuse me for my purple craze lately. Didn’t actually plan it.

I went shoe-shopping today in a very icy London and bought this off ALDO in Camden Town. I have a pair of black ALDO flats which I find hardy and long lasting, that was why I did not mind ’splurging’ (not that it is really expensive anyway!) on another pair.
Purple just for the fun of it!
Now I have a pair of red hot heels and purple flats.. maybe I should go for blue next round. Just watch out!
Brand: ALDO
Price: GBP 7 (original: GBP30)
From: ALDO, Camden Town

I know this is outdated items but I have been eyeing this Roseflower Eyes eyeshadow since I was back at home in my hot, oh-so-sunny tropical country. I never really bothered to buy because I was not convinced I would be using them.
But after I started to be a little more ‘professional-looking’ here in London, I have been putting up basic makeup and I realised I should start investing in basic eyeshadows too. I’ve been telling my flatmate I wanted to get one for ages, but the money just could not come out from the pocket.. until one fine day…
I caught this in The Body Shop…

From an original price of GBP10, it was slashed to only GBP2!! Awfully cheap. How can I resist. I bought the Golden Sunshine shade (left one) and thus, a happy girl I was walking about of the shop. To make matters better, with the discount card, I got another 10% off so it was only effectively GBP1.80!
Cheers to cheapskateness/thrifty living!

I couldn’t resist not getting a pair of heels when they go on sales. This is a open-toe, patent overlay heels I got off New Look the other day.

It was just GBP5 so I couldn’t resist the offer. Original price.. GBP18!
It is actually redder than it seems in the picture so it is awesome stuffs! I just wonder when I actually have a chance to wear it. Maybe some party?
Love this random purchase of mine!
