Lovely card holder

When you are single and miserable, sometimes it is good to pamper yourself. I had my virgin visit to Cath Kidston at Covent Garden today. Cath Kidston has this textured floral prints all over! Very flowery, very British indeed.

I got myself a card holder from my sole visit to the store.

I truly love it. I absolutely love the floral motive (they look so girly!) and the light blue background. Moreover, its surface is PVC, which means easy cleaning by just a wipe with a wet cloth.

Simple yet exotic

untitled3untitled4

It is red, again. This time, it’s a ring. The price is a bit expensive for a ring like this .  Mum agreed to buy it because the four of us can wear it to formal dinners. However, it is going to be my CNY accessory.

Are you ready for beach?

untitled1

I have been eyeing this when it just arrived in the Rip Curl section in Parkson. I think it’s the colour that attracted me. I like caps, but I only wear them to the beach. Hahah.

Brand : Rip Curl

Price : RM 53.90

Is it going to be a waste?

2009.114I initially bought this necklace to accessorize my plain black top. Probably because I am not used to wearing necklace. The weight of the necklace wore me down each time I attempted to use it. I like the necklace because of the chains and how the crystals soften the roughness of the chains….get what i mean?

Brand: Park Avenue
Price: About RM 20. Forgot the exact price.

Like a bandage

2009.112Sort of regretted buying this chunky ring in white. Should have gotten it in some other colour. This looks too much like a bandage.

I didnt buy this ring when I first saw it but after a day or two and at a different branch. I was contemplating between the black or the white and the plain or the ornate type. In the end, I chose this. Erm…like I mentioned above, I sort of regretted it now.

Punk!

2009.111Recently, I discovered that I am quite into leathery stuff. Erm..ok, not really so much into it but after purchasing a particular leather bracelet online, I saw this chain leather bracelet at Diva and wanted it immediately. It fitted snugly on my hand – fat hand~ fortunately it is just the right size. Phew~

Got it as a birthday gift though. Hehe~

The red for Christmas (and possibly CNY?)

I have only two bags here in London. One big white one and one small white-off one. I find it troublesome whenever I go out. I have been hunting for a bag for the past few weeks but found neither fit my taste nor budget.

Until, ironically, when I went to Harrods. I used to think it sells awfully overpriced things but how wrong I was when I saw the home brand section with rather affordable pieces..

This is the ideal size that I could possibly think of. Its material is so soft you almost would think it is leather (except, I truly think it isn’t!). Its red is red enough for Christmas and possibly Chinese New Year. It is not too hot, neither is it too dull. Maybe it is quite a dull red, but it fits fine for my (rather dull) personality.

I like how the sides ‘fold’ nicely. It can be carried around the shoulder or as a tote bag. I am satisfied with my purchase. It is just funny how it should come from the place I least expected to purchase something from..

As for the price.. let’s just say the original price is £34.99 but I got it off with a good discount. My housemate told me to keep the price a secret and just let people know its original price. I was laughing out loud at her idea but perhaps I should stick to the rule, just for the fun of it.

Formal necklace

DSC02994

This is actually a birthday present from my cousins. I have not worn it yet, waiting for a suitable occasion to wear it. A black formal dress will be a prefect match. Agree? Any other suggestions?

Online shopaholic part 5

DSC01412After a feverish shopping at the previous shopping blog, I went on to shop at another blog. This time, I fell in love with this leather bracelet. It has a punkish kind of feel and I do feel somewhat rebellious when I wear it.

The bracelet did fall apart when I first wore it and I had to fix it to be able to wear it again. The hazard of online shopping.

Online shopaholic part 4

DSC01348Another item from my online shopping loot.  I discovered that I bought quite a number of bangle/bracelet kind of accessories. This particular one consists of one diamante bracelet with a lot of silver bangles attached to it. It has a kind of elegant with a hint of indie style, I think. Haha…

Price : Rm 17.00
