YAY!

Ever since my Kaleidoscope perfume back in the days (finished it in 2006), i have not found any smell that is suitable for me.

There are many perfume smells that give me a headache but finally.. I found Body Shop’s Oceanus!

I was told that it has been called off sale in NZ, so I was really happy and lucky to be able to get it here in Qatar. Within a few days, it has been taken out here too. Ie. no more stock!

fingerless glove!

I have been a really useless bum at home when I’m not doing anything.

One day, I felt the sudden inspiration – making fingerless gloves.

With the help from my mum,  I cut out the sleeves of an old top, drew on the outlines of my fingers, sew the lines up using black thread and finally cut across the top to create the ‘fingerless’ part.

Although most people would have chosen to use a similar colour thread to that of the cloth, I purposely chose a black thread against the bright yellow cloth to create a contrast along the sides of the glove.

Then, I decorated the glove with buttons. I was being ambitious and wanted to put on a pocket for pens to rest on.. but maybe I shall wait till another day :p

Fingerless gloves are in the trend because many people want to protect their hands from the cold, but the normal gloves make it hard to write etc, therefore this is the perfect solution!

I got these singlets from my mum a few months back, but I never got the chance to post it up. These tops from Zara can be layered with inner singlets and I personally think, they would look good with dangling necklaces

I finally found that pic of the top when I was first attracted to it. The one that I dont know how to wear it out because it looks like a night gown on me. As you can see, it is the same in term of the design on the top but it is actually different in term of the top cutting. 

I thought that maybe it is because of my body size and I have always wanted to get someone skinny to try it out for me. So… here is my skinny model.

I decided that it’s time to change my style a little bit. Maybe to dress more maturely since I’m already 19! So, I got myself a new purple (again!) cardigan and a white belt.

Since my friend commented that I look good in purple, I decided fairly on this colour. The material is really nice and not too thick. Very suitable in hot countries. The purple colour is strong but, it does not give you a too mature look. I think it is a very elegant colour.

The white belt is fantastic. It is actually a low-waist belt but, I used it differently since I’m a plus-size.  This belt is good for casual outings. It is awesomely a good accessory because it shows off the curves of your body. And it can really lighten up a dull, boring top.

I tried to match these two items together and they looked great! My house mate loves the combination and I think it’s just nice for a person of my age or few years older.

I’ve always been wanting a small purse which I can use to keep some cash, make-up stuffs and also my E71. I saw something like that when shopping at Roxy but, it was too expensive.  I decided to wait.

While shopping at Midvalley last week, I saw this really cute pink purse hanging at one of the small stalls. It’s exactly what I want and I decided to get a purple one!

Love this. It’s not very big but it is just big enough to fit my E71, some make-up accessories like eyeliner, lip balm and face powder. I think I can even fit some cash inside it but, it’ll be too messy since I have so many things inside it. Maybe I’ll try find a small card to compartmentalise them. Plus, it has a small mirror attached to it. Very useful…

This purse can be used when you’re out on a casual day or even formal events because of the elegant colour. It’s light and just nice for your hand to hold. Me love it!

It’s funny how a single accessory you put on can put forward a stereotyped image of you: eg. a ribbon on your hair may imply that you are girly.

I am proud to present my chains – some say it’s a wallet chain, but actually I customised it myself. The chains were actually a part of my belt, but since my tummy expanded the belt was too small for my current size, I removed the chains and attached them to a keychain ring and hence able to hang them on my jeans.

So what’s this stereotype? Gangsta?

I’m pretty sure I haven’t shared with you all this snazzy pair of sunglasses.. Huge lenses that cover half your face (provided that you have a small face!) can be a trendsetter of the future. Gone is the popularity of small pair of sunglasses… to be replaced by this more favourable type.

Besides it being a fashion statement, this pair of sunglasses comes with solar shield ability – that protects your eyes against ultraviolet radiation! What a bonus!

Since before Chinese New Year, I saw this one t-shirt at Giordano and has loved it since then. I wanted it but couldnt bear to spend the money on just that one t-shirt. So… I hold off purchasing the t-shirt.

Fast forward three months, Giordano is having a sale and they only have one unit of this t-shirt left. Thank goodness that it is in my size somemore. Ok…I roughly calculated and it is not really much of a discount but whatever…

The t-shirt material is quite soft and comfortable. The length of the t-shirt is quite long too so it is faltering to my body shape.
The offer is to buy 2 t-shirts so.. I got another t-shirt. Shoes… hehe..It sorts of reflect my love for shoes. If it is high-heeled, it will be even more appropriate. I am so in love with high heels nowadays… Psst.. Saw  pair of really beautiful heels at Vincci. My shopping partner wouldnt let me get it though. Darn…
